Rick DeBel

Assistant Treasurer

Rick DeBel returned to the Christian Health Board of Trustees in 2026 as assistant treasurer. Mr. DeBel serves on the Finance and Audit committee, and as a member of the executive committee, serves as an ex officio member of all board committees. He was previously a member of the Christian Health Board for 18 years, serving as board chair and chair of the Finance Committee. Mr. DeBel is currently Chief Financial Officer for Eastern Christian Schools, after a 35-year career in the banking industry. He is a long-time member of the board and executive committee of the Tri-County Scholarship Fund, where he was board chair. Mr. Debel previously served as Deacon of the Ebenezer Netherland Reformed Church, where he and his wife are members. He and his wife, Ellen, have six adult children and two grandchildren and reside in Lincoln Park.
