Masking
With exceptions, masking is optional for residents, patients, clients,
team members, visitors, and volunteers. Masking may still be required
when requested by a resident or patient. Masking may also be required
of team members and visitors providing care for or visiting individuals
who are on isolation precautions or immunocompromised. Anyone may wear
a face covering on our campuses; we encourage it!
Masking is strongly encouraged for visitors to Heritage Manor West/Bolger
Short-Term Rehab, Longview, and Ramapo Ridge Behavioral Health due to
the recent presence of COVID-19 in those communities and the hospital.
We may reinstate mandatory masking at any time if community COVID-19 transmission rates increase, the COVID status of the organization changes, or the guidance from NJDOH or CDC changes. If you have questions about our new masking guidelines, please contact us at (201) 848-5200 or Info@ChristianHealthNJ.org or contact your loved one's care team.
COVID-19 Reporting
Heritage Manor has one COVID-19-positive resident/patient.
Longview has seven COVID-19-positive residents.
Southgate Special Care is COVID-19-free.
Ramapo Ridge Behavioral Health has one COVID-19-positive patient.
We take the safety of our residents, patients, clients, and team members very seriously. Across our long-term/post-acute care and assisted living communities, there is currently one COVID-19-positive team member. All team members who test positive for COVID-19 are not physically permitted on campus until they can safely return as per current guidelines.
Christian Health continues to support our acute-care partners to meet the community's healthcare needs. We accept admissions from local acute-care hospitals, and some of these individuals may be COVID-19 positive. These individuals are not identified in the counts of facility-onset COVID-19 above. These new residents/patients come to us for care to complete their recovery following hospitalization. They are tested before admission and upon arrival and move into an established unit used to safely cohort new admissions.
