CHCC Holds Annual ACE Gala

WYCKOFF, NJ – On October 19, Christian Health (CHCC) hosted its annual gala, A Celebration of Excellence, at The Venetian in Garfield, NJ. The event raised over $240,000. More than 400 CHCC friends and supporters, including Senator Kristin Corrado, Assemblyman Kevin Rooney, and Wyckoff Mayor Rudy Boonstra, among other community leaders and local dignitaries, were in attendance at the celebration.

The 2017 honorees were presented with the David F. Bolger Award for Service and Leadership. Awards were accepted by Paul Van Ostenbridge, President and CEO of Atlantic Stewardship Bank, and Kevin Cornwell, President of the Wyckoff Family YMCA Board of Directors. Y Executive Director Joy K. Vottero and Associate Director Joyce Kwiatkowski were also honored for their leadership and dedication to the community.

“We are proud that part of this year’s proceeds from A Celebration of Excellence will be dedicated to creating a new program at the Wyckoff Family YMCA in honor of Atlantic Stewardship Bank’s tithing program. Our three organizations share a deep commitment to the well-being of our communities,” said Douglas A. Struyk, CPA, LNHA, President and CEO of CHCC. The Center will be tithing 10 percent of the gala’s proceeds to the Y to develop a program to help families affected by the opioid crisis.

CHCC expressed gratitude for the steadfast generosity of its supporters. Major contributing event sponsors included Atlantic Stewardship Bank; Atlantic, Tomorrow’s Office; PharmScript; Kuiken Brothers; Kulite Semiconductor Products Inc.; NJM Insurance; Patient Care Associates; Select Rehab; Regency Wealth Management; Shotmeyer Bros.; St. Joseph’s Healthcare System; and Valley Health System.
