Christian Health Care Woodhaven of Wyckoff Celebrates Deficiency-free Survey and Inspection from the New Jersey Department of Health

Christian Health Woodhaven of Wyckoff recently had its annual survey by the New Jersey Department of Health. A surveyor arrived at the program unannounced and spent the day reviewing client medical records, facility conditions, care processes, and other materials/activities, in addition to interviewing clients and staff. The outcome was a finding of no deficiencies.
“I am so proud of the staff of Christian Health Woodhaven of Wyckoff. Their dedication and hard work really paid off with the outstanding deficiency-free survey,” said Douglas A. Struyk, CPA, LNHA, Christian Health President and CEO. “The survey also provided continued evidence of our sincere dedication to the health, healing, and wellness of those we serve. The surveyor commented that visiting the program cleansed her palate. What a wonderful compliment!” Christian Health Woodhaven of Wayne and Wyckoff provides door-to-door transportation for clients living in more than 50 townships throughout Bergen and Passaic counties. Rates are affordable, Medicaid is accepted, and other financial assistance is available. The programs’ social workers offer individual and family counseling, conduct support groups, and provide information on home care and long-range planning. Families of clients enrolled in the programs may also participate in one of the caregiver support groups offered at CH.
