Rev. Christopher Wolf, MDiv,
Staff Chaplain
Rev. Christopher has devoted more than 22 years to ministry, serving in
a wide range of church and chaplaincy settings. Through the years, he
has been committed to providing hope, healing, and comfort to individuals
and families across diverse communities and life stages.
As a Staff Chaplain of Pastoral Care for Christian Health in Wyckoff,
N.J., Rev. Christopher guides others through times of celebration and
hardship. He prioritizes being a source of hope, healing, and comfort,
serving as the presence of Christ in moments of joy and sorrow. While
he has embraced opportunities to lead, preach, and teach, he remains especially
grateful for the privilege of offering calm guidance, thoughtful listening,
and Scripture-based encouragement to individuals in times of need. Community
members consider him someone who “makes a difference.”
For more than a decade, Rev. Christopher hosted “Visit with Christopher,”
a weekly open-door invitation to congregation members and community residents
to connect, reflect, and receive pastoral support. These conversations
welcomed people from all walks of life and fostered an environment of
openness, hospitality, care, and encouragement.
Before joining Christian Health in November 2024, Rev. Christopher spent 14 years as Pastor at the First Reformed Church in Saddle Brook, N.J. He previously served as Senior Pastor at First Reformed Church of Grandville, Michigan, for five years, and Pastor of Lebanon Reformed Church in Lebanon, N.J., for nearly four years. He also hosted a syndicated weekly radio show, “Walk With Me,” for six years and has written two books, “Giving Faith a Second Chance” and “With You Every Step of the Way.”
Before ministry, Rev. Christopher worked in media, state government, and public relations. He and his wife of more than 30 years, Jennifer, reside in Bergen County, N.J., and are proud parents to their adult children, Brian and Madelyn.
Rev. Christopher earned his Master of Divinity (MDiv) in Theology, Leadership and Preaching from the New Brunswick Theological Seminary. He received his Bachelor of Art (B.A.) from The College of New Jersey.
