Richard Kuder, EdD

Richard Kuder, Ed.D., joined the board in 2023 and serves as board secretary, chair of the Personnel Committee, and a member of the Strategic Planning Committee. He served as superintendent of schools in Wyckoff until 2018, following more than 26 years of service in several Bergen County school districts. Dr. Kuder has also worked with an international, for-profit school startup in the U.S. and China. He currently serves as director of education for the Wyckoff Family YMCA and director of the Master of Arts in Education Leadership Program at Ramapo College and works as a consultant in education and organizational leadership. Dr. Kuder has served for many years on the board of Eastern Christian School and New City Kids Inc. He and his wife, Ruth, have five adult children, live in Wayne, and attend Restore Church in Midland Park.
