Julie Tokarski, MD, FAAP, joined the Christian Health Board of Trustees
in 2023 and serves on its Quality/Joint Conference Committee. She is an
assistant professor of pediatric emergency medicine at The Mount Sinai
Hospital, where she has been an attending physician in the Pediatric Emergency
Department since 2016. Dr. Tokarski graduated from Oral Roberts University
in 2005 and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (formerly Robert Wood Johnson
Medical School) in 2010. She completed both her residency and a fellowship
at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, where she
trained from 2010 to 2016. Dr. Tokarski participates in several committees
and quality improvement initiatives in the emergency department at The
Mount Sinai Hospital. She has volunteered on medical mission trips to
Costa Rica and Mexico. Dr. Tokarski and her husband, Bill, live in Glen
Rock, have four children, and attend Mosaic Covenant Church in Paramus.
