John DeSclafani

Assistant Secretary

John V. DeSclafani joined the Christian Health Foundation Board in 2022 and was appointed to the Christian Health Board of Trustees in 2025. He currently serves as assistant secretary of the Board and is an active member of both the Finance and Investment Committees. As a member of the Executive Committee, he also serves as an ex officio member of all board committees, supporting strong governance, financial stewardship, and strategic oversight in furtherance of Christian Health’s mission. He is deeply committed to community leadership through his longstanding involvement with Christian Health. Professional, Mr. DeSclafani is an Executive Director and Commercial Banking Leader at Wells Fargo, where he leads a team that delivers credit, treasury management, and capital markets solutions to middle-market and commercial clients. With more than 15 years of experience, he is recognized for building high-performing teams, developing strategic growth initiatives, and fostering strong client relationships across a diverse range of industries. In addition to his work with Christian Health, John serves on the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Bankers Association, contributing to the advancement of the banking industry across the state. John and his wife, Ashley, reside in Franklin Lakes with their two children and are active members of Cornerstone Christian Church in Wyckoff. He enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time outdoors with his family.
