About Erik
Erik Svensson, MD, serves as Medical Director of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care at Christian Health, where he provides clinical leadership and oversees care for patients and residents with complex medical needs. He values the opportunity to build meaningful relationships over time, support families through important care decisions, and work alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team committed to compassionate, person-centered care.
Dr. Svensson’s decision to pursue medicine was inspired by his father and grandfather, both physicians whose dedication to their patients and communities left a lasting impression on him. Their example shaped his commitment to providing thoughtful, attentive care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those he serves.
