Christian Health’s Volunteer Program is temporarily suspended at this time. Because we care for the most vulnerable population, and out of an abundance of caution to prioritize their health and protection, we are taking aggressive precautionary measures. This includes restricting existing volunteers and not interviewing or welcoming any new volunteers until further notice. We look forward to welcoming volunteers back to campus when it is safe to do so.
Volunteers make a difference in the lives of patients, residents, clients, consumers, and team members. Each year, more than 300 adults and teenagers collectively provide nearly 15,000 hours of volunteer service to Christian Health. Their responsibilities are varied and extensive. Some assist with resident activities, play music, greet guests at the reception desk, or work in de Snoep Winkle Gift Shop. Others organize fundraisers or serve on the Board of Trustees. Families, corporate and community groups (scouts, civic organizations) are also welcome and we would love to connect with you to brainstorm ideas for your family/group!
Our goal is to make your volunteer experience a valuable one, while also benefiting residents and patients. Volunteering provides an opportunity to help others, meet new people, keep your mind sharp, explore careers in healthcare, and fulfill community-service requirements. There are many ways to make a difference at Christian Health.
Once your application has been received/your profile is complete, you will be contacted for a short interview. Volunteer placement will be based on volunteer interests and availability.
