Christian Health’s Amy Shotmeyer Porter Named a 2026 NJBIZ Leaders in Law Honoree

WYCKOFF, NJ (February 6, 2026) – Christian Health is pleased to announce that Amy Shotmeyer Porter, Esq., Head of Legal, has been selected as a 2026 NJBIZ Leaders in Law Award Honoree in the Business: Corporate, Nonprofit, Franchise, M&A, Litigation category. The program honors legal professionals, including lawyers and general counsel, for their outstanding contributions to the legal profession and their communities.

As in-house counsel, corporate compliance officer, and risk manager, Shotmeyer Porter provides strategic legal leadership across all Christian Health operations. She oversees legal services, regulatory and contractual compliance, corporate governance, risk management, and patient safety. Shotmeyer Porter’s history with Christian Health is deep-rooted. Before joining the executive team in 2024, she served on Christian Health’s Board of Trustees and Foundation Board. Since assuming her current role, she has strengthened governance and regulatory readiness by integrating corporate compliance and risk management functions across affiliated entities.

Shotmeyer Porter also lends her expertise and leadership to the broader community. She serves as president-elect of the Seton Hall Law Alumni Council and is committed to mentoring emerging legal professionals.

Prior to Christian Health, Shotmeyer Porter spent 16 years at DeCotiis, FitzPatrick, Cole & Giblin, where she advanced from law clerk to equity partner and built a reputation for sound judgment in complex litigation, insurance coverage, and risk management.

This latest distinction from NJBIZ adds to the many accolades Shotmeyer Porter has received from her peers. She has also been named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” and as a Top Lawyer by (201) Magazine.

NJBIZ’s 2026 Leaders in Law Award Honorees will be celebrated during an in-person awards ceremony on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 8 a.m. at The Marigold in Somerset.
