President’s Perspective: Honoring Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

President’s Perspective: Honoring Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

As is our nation’s tradition, each year we honor the memory of the lives lost on December 7, 1941 during the attack at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. On that tragic day, the lives of 2,334 servicemen and servicewomen were lost and another 1,143 were wounded. That day was also very significant to our nation’s entry into World War II.

Accordingly, this year on Saturday, December 7, Christian Health lowers the US flags on its campuses in Wayne and Wyckoff to half-staff from sunrise to sunset.  Please join us in honoring the memory of many heroes in our nation’s heritage and in remembering their family and friends in our thoughts and prayers.
