Atlantic Stewardship Bank and YMCA Directors Take Home David F. Bolger Award

WYCKOFF, NJ – On October 19, Christian Health (CH) will present Atlantic Stewardship Bank (ASB) and the Wyckoff Family YMCA Board or Directors, Executive Director Joy K. Vottero, and Associate Director Joyce Kwiatkowski with The David F. Bolger Award for Service and Leadership. The 2017 recipients were selected for their legacy of service, leadership, and commitment to their communities. The award will be presented at A Celebration of Excellence gala, CH’s largest annual event.

ASB maintains 12 banking locations in Hawthorne, Midland Park, Montville, Morristown, North Haledon, Pequannock, Ridgewood, Waldwick, and Westwood, and two offices in Wayne. The bank is unique in its commitment to tithe, or contribute, 10 percent of its annual profit to local non-profit organizations. The only bank in the United States to tithe, ASB has a significant positive impact on the recipients of its generosity.

The Wyckoff Family YMCA has grown from a small summer day camp to a 100,000-square-foot complex serving more than 10,000 members across Northern New Jersey. Thanks to the foresight of the Board of Directors and the leadership of Executive Director Joy K. Vottero and Associate Director Joyce Kwiatkowski, the Y offers a range of health, wellness, social, and educational programming to members who range in age from 2 months to 95 years.

Douglas A. Struyk, CPA, LNHA, President and CEO of CH shared, “Along with Christian Health, Atlantic Stewardship Bank and the Wyckoff Family YMCA share a deep commitment to the well-being of our communities. The growth of our organizations has been guided by the needs of our neighbors.”

CH is proud to announce that in addition to the award and in honor of ASB’s tithing program, a portion of the proceeds from A Celebration of Excellence 2017 will be dedicated to developing a program at the Wyckoff Family YMCA to educate, address, and ultimately help families affected by the opioid crisis.
