CHCC Receives State and National Recognitions

At Christian Health (CHCC), our mission statement is composed of words to live by and a faith to reflect it. We take our mission to foster health, healing, and wellness or people of all ages seriously, and we take it to heart.

One of the ways our success in fulfilling our mission is quantifiably measured is by high marks on our resident, patient, client, consumer, and family satisfaction surveys. It is also reflected by awards and recognitions we receive on state and national levels.

  • Our Ramapo Ridge Behavioral Health (RRBH) has earned the distinction of Disease-specific Care Certification for Dementia from The Joint Commission (TJC), the premier health-care quality improvement and accrediting body in America. RRBH is the only hospital in New Jersey and one of only two in the nation to earn this certification. (Read more about this extraordinary honor on page 6.)
  • Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Southgate behavior-management unit, and The Longview Assisted Living Residence received a Silver National Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living. We were the only Bergen County organization to receive the Silver award. Last year, CHCC was awarded the Bronze award. Next year we are eligible to apply for the Gold in this prestigious award program.
  • Heritage Manor has also received a Five-Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and is recognized as one of the Best Nursing Homes in America by US News & World Report.
  • Longview has received Advanced Standing status every year since the designation was developed six years ago by the Health Care Association of New Jersey and the New Jersey Department of Health. Longview also received a 2017 Excellence in Action Award from NRC Health for outstanding resident satisfaction.
